Flamengo FSCMZ's Yuri Neiva shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Afiq Hongyi but with some difficulty. Afiq Hongyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Neiva in the 38th minute of the match. Afiq Hongyi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Alvarenga went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Yuri Neiva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Afiq Hongyi, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Flamengo FSCMZ were furious when Régis Araújo was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Iskandar Kool struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Léo Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 苏州觅香足球俱乐部. In the 57th minute, Jerry Hock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Hock in the 62nd minute of play. Virgílio da Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgílio da Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jerry Hock took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Léo Carioca. After some careless play in the Flamengo FSCMZ defense, Alam Chan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léo Carioca. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Carioca should have stopped the shot. Hortêncio Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
