If Conrado Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Lawrence came free, but Vicente Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benê Favoretto's late challenge caught a Yala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Dragões Barbudos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Fantini should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ramón Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragões Barbudos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Lawrence made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Peres during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yala booed when Dragões Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dragões Barbudos FC were furious when Christian Dracena was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Dragões Barbudos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yala:s goal. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Yala. In the 63rd match minute, Dragões Barbudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Nesto in the 66th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Bruno Lawrence left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Aurken in the 98th minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Vicente Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
