Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Marzagão's Neil Mar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu-Maxim Wouqier. In the 4th minute, Cristian Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Luís Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richy Wiggers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes of play, Marzagão's Alfredo Esteves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Van Der Weghen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredinho Quintal hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Pedro Luís Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Henderickx's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Alfredo Esteves scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tony Van Der Weghen made a huge save. Benoit Elzen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Henderickx in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Alfredo Esteves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Van Der Weghen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 41st minute, Lorenzo Loozen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Van Der Weghen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cristian Dias. Pedro Luís Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Henderickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FC Bruges's Tony Henderickx in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marzagão's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Tony Henderickx made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Herman Bormans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neil Mar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Mar in the 57th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Mar came free, but Tony Van Der Weghen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Van Der Weghen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Mar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Mar in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Gilberto Saraiva notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen. Tony Van Der Weghen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tony Henderickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Alfredo Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Van Der Weghen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Esteves came free, but Tony Van Der Weghen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Richy Wiggers took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Pedro Luís Fernandez to make any attempt to save it. FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Esteves in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marzagão had won after a very even match.
