After a rather tough play, FC juveMET's Victor Nelsson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Reynaldo Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Müjdat Balıkçı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guararapes. After a defensive mix-up in FC juveMET's zone, Reynaldo Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müjdat Balıkçı came out of the goal and Reynaldo Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Guararapes's Reynaldo Fernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Müjdat Balıkçı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 16 minutes, Veysel Ayaydın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC juveMET and the Guararapes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Veysel Ayaydın hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Müjdat Balıkçı made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Conrado Leite sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Corrêa having to interfere. Murillo Ferreira took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Müjdat Balıkçı. Müjdat Balıkçı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 28th minute Reynaldo Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Balıkçı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Veysel Ayaydın managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC juveMET's supporters rose to their feet, but Veysel Ayaydın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reynaldo Fernandez scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Müjdat Balıkçı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reynaldo Fernandez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Müjdat Balıkçı came out and tried to block the shot, but Reynaldo Fernandez slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. A collision led to Guararapes getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun's late challenge caught a Guararapes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes FC juveMET got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun. Müjdat Balıkçı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Luís Corrêa made a huge save. If Hazım Albayrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 65 played minutes FC juveMET got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Arif Ulusu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun got free with Luís Corrêa in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the FC juveMET defense, Reynaldo Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Müjdat Balıkçı. The FC juveMET fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Müjdat Balıkçı should have stopped the shot. Guararapes's Cléber Saraiva was substituted for Conrado Leite. In the 89th minute, Jonathan de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes of play FC juveMET's Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to FC juveMET getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun hit a great ball. FC juveMET's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
