Mert Beşer kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun got free with Tony Van Der Weghen in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Bruges booed when FC juveMET was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Arif Ulusu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Müjdat Balıkçı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richy Wiggers in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Balthazar in the 27th minute of play forced FC juveMET's goalkeeper Müjdat Balıkçı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, FC Bruges's Tony Henderickx made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Müjdat Balıkçı was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 32 played minutes FC juveMET got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Arif Ulusu. FC juveMET's Müjdat Balıkçı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Henderickx in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen got control of the ball when Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Ahmet Arif Ulusu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tony Van Der Weghen, 1-2.
