But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the De Digitale Dribbelaars defense, Reynaldo Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincent Wekenburg. The De Digitale Dribbelaars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincent Wekenburg should have stopped the shot. When De Digitale Dribbelaars's Felix Heubach in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vincent Wekenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Fernandez in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Guararapes's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Heubach came free, but Luís Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Heubach scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 54th minute, Rein Zeijlemaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cobus Heide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Corrêa having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Reynaldo Fernandez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vincent Wekenburg. The goal made the score 1-2. Vincent Wekenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan de Azevedo in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Guararapes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Leite to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Fernandez took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Wekenburg. Vincent Wekenburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Nilton Secco took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Wekenburg.
