Spectators: 7583 (Terracing: 5688, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rinus Drent started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Esteves got free with Erwin Mol in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rinus Drent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Neil Mar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Erwin Mol, passed just outside the right post. 13 minutes into the game, Neil Mar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erwin Mol. Neil Mar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to De Digitale Dribbelaars getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Arnold Snoeks hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Rinus Drent came free, but Pedro Luís Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felix Heubach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of De Digitale Dribbelaars booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Rinus Drent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luís Fernandez was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 31st play minutes Rinus Drent shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Pedro Luís Fernandez and just under the crossbar into goal. 33 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Rinus Drent sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Luís Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the De Digitale Dribbelaars defense, Neil Mar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erwin Mol. The De Digitale Dribbelaars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erwin Mol should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Felix Heubach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin Mol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Esteves in the 42nd minute of the match. Pedro Luís Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rinus Drent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, César Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marzagão made a substitution. Serafim Reis replaced Alfredinho Quintal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Neil Mar to strike the kick off in the second half. Cleiton Paulista hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez got control of the ball when Rinus Drent tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Heubach in the 59th minute of play. In the last second Pedro Luís Fernandez throw himself and got hold of the ball when Felix Heubach in the 62ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Erwin Mol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Prado in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Alberto Prado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marzagão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Neil Mar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Marzagão from getting a goal against them. After 83 played minutes, Marzagão's Caco Donato shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erwin Mol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marzagão reached it. 90 minutes into the game, Serafim Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marzagão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Digitale Dribbelaars the free kick. The supporters of De Digitale Dribbelaars booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Paulista to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the De Digitale Dribbelaars players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marzagão.
