The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonio Grossman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szabolcs Kerekes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to PMFC 2018 getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Rómeó Ambrus hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, János Kis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Grossman. Jagiellonia Denver's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that János Kis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jagiellonia Denver's Antonio Grossman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Denver from getting a goal against them. Antonio Grossman made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when János Kis sent off a good shot on target. József Vermes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Clement McCormick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Grossman made an important save on a dangerous shot by József Vermes in the 19th minute. PMFC 2018's Dániel Sallói played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hoyt Dove in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micah LeBatelier in the 23rd minute of play forced PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Dániel Sallói to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Hoyt Dove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dániel Sallói saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when József Vermes got free with Antonio Grossman in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. János Kis kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, PMFC 2018's goal looked a bit too open when Hoyt Dove came free, but Dániel Sallói reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, PMFC 2018 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by József Vermes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by József Vermes in the 34th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Antonio Grossman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Micah LeBatelier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dániel Sallói was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Antonio Grossman made an important save on a dangerous shot by József Vermes in the 38th minute. Gilbert Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dániel Sallói having to interfere. If József Vermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rómeó Ambrus made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micah LeBatelier in the 55th minute of play forced PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Dániel Sallói to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domonkos Détári kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Rómeó Ambrus struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Antonio Grossman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PMFC 2018. In the 64th minute Micah LeBatelier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dániel Sallói saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Micah LeBatelier struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Dániel Sallói didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagiellonia Denver. 71 minutes into the match, PMFC 2018's goal looked a bit too open when Micah LeBatelier came free, but Dániel Sallói reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedek Tóth kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Micah LeBatelier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, PMFC 2018's goal looked a bit too open when Micah LeBatelier came free, but Dániel Sallói reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. József Vermes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Dániel Sallói made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilbert Pena in the 92nd minute. When Micah LeBatelier came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Jagiellonia Denver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micah LeBatelier couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PMFC 2018 had won after a very even match.
