Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Libertad started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Viento Norte FC's zone, Joel Libertad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Quintun came out of the goal and Joel Libertad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Honorato Tancredo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viento Norte FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Fertus during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Viento Norte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Fertus to maneuver through the defense. When Tiburones Rojos's Joel Libertad in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eusebio Jobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Iker Darien made a huge save. After 29 played minutes Tiburones Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Gora. Enzo Pagomari who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Iker Darien when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Tiburones Rojos's goalkeeper Iker Darien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Jobo. Higinio Stephen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Eusebio Jobo made a precise shot to the right of Iker Darien. Tiburones Rojos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Marcelo Elia kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Tiburones Rojos booed when Viento Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Fertus made a kick off. Marcelo Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Quintun having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Viento Norte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Pagomari to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes Tiburones Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Iratxo. If Joel Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
