With a little luck, Aguinhas's Eurico Diniz got control of the ball when Jeronimo Tano tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bernabe Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Aguinhas booed when TALLERES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Gonchan's late challenge caught a Aguinhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Cuenca had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Sandrinho da Silveira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Teobaldo Txordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celsinho Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Gilmar Pereira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mario Cuenca. The goal made the score 0-1.
