Joaquin Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Cuenca having to interfere. In the 24th minute Joaquin Soter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Cuenca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Txaran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Candido Dantel, 2-0. Bernabe Rolado hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Astros de México defense, Bernabe Rolado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Dantel. The Astros de México fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Dantel should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Rolado got free with Candido Dantel in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, TALLERES's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Jurgi came free, but Mario Cuenca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Bernabe Rolado made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Astros de México's Celedonio Evangelista got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the game, TALLERES's Bernabe Rolado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Candido Dantel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Hermengildo Incendio came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Astros de México fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Incendio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Rolado in the 68th minute of play forced Astros de México's goalkeeper Candido Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astros de México's Candido Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Rolado in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Astros de México getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Arsenio Calixto hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Astros de México's zone, Teobaldo Txordon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. A collision led to Astros de México getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Arsenio Calixto hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Julián Maidana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Astros de México booed when TALLERES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Dantel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Sugar in the 85th minute of play.
