Jacek Giertych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Tingelholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Alf Rydelius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Giertych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Little Big's Edvin Stenkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Szpakowski in the 17th minute of play. Edvin Stenkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Szpakowski in the 19th minute of the match. Edvin Stenkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Tomiczek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Thomas Tingelholm elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Håkan Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Korneliusz Szpakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korneliusz Szpakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Stenkvist having to interfere. Alf Rydelius struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jacek Giertych didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Little Big. Stig-Ove Lidman kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Borys Motyl made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Korneliusz Szpakowski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edvin Stenkvist, passed just outside the right post. If Thomas Tingelholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvin Stenkvist made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Borys Motyl sent off a good shot on target. Stig-Ove Lidman hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Szpakowski in the 73rd minute of play forced Little Big's goalkeeper Edvin Stenkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, Little Big was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Lidman to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Isaksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacek Giertych. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Isaksson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 80 minutes, Korneliusz Szpakowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gliwicka Torcida and the Little Big players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Borys Motyl made a precise shot to the right of Edvin Stenkvist. Little Big's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Little Big's Edvin Stenkvist got control of the ball when Borys Motyl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvin Stenkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Szpakowski in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Borys Motyl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gliwicka Torcida's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Motyl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin Stenkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 minutes Gliwicka Torcida's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Håkan Holmberg who took care of the corner kick.
