The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Celsinho Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Eliasson in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of RullaBoll booed when Aguinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Eliasson in the 18th minute of play forced Aguinhas's goalkeeper Eurico Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aguinhas's Eurico Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Sjödin in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Ingvar Sjödin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Aguinhas booed when RullaBoll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Aguinhas's Luiz Gustavo Mota got a free kick in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, RullaBoll's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Gabrielsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celsinho Tróia. A collision led to Aguinhas getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Celsinho Tróia hit a great ball. After 37th play minutes Jimmy Eliasson shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Eurico Diniz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 40th minute, Jack Mårtensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RullaBoll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Alf Alströmer fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RullaBoll's protests and gave Alf Alströmer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Alf Alströmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celsinho Tróia was the one to do the kick off. Karl-Erik Gabrielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Pereira in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Aguinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Mårtensson came free, but Eurico Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Gabrielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Guedes in the 56th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jack Mårtensson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eurico Diniz. That made the score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Eliasson in the 65th minute of play forced Aguinhas's goalkeeper Eurico Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, one of Aguinhas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Eurico Diniz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, RullaBoll's Jimmy Eliasson got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes, Aguinhas's Renatinho Braga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Erik Gabrielsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aguinhas reached it. In the 80th minute, Augusto Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Eurico Diniz managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when RullaBoll's Jimmy Eliasson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alf Alströmer hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Eurico Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Eliasson in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aguinhas's Celsinho Tróia got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, RullaBoll's Timmy Torstensson tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Eliasson during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes RullaBoll got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Eliasson. In the 96th minute, RullaBoll's Jimmy Eliasson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When the match was over RullaBoll could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aguinhas throughout the match.
