Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Flávio Dante made the kick off and thus started the match. Victoriano Tibalt hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Florencio Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Dante in the 10th minute of play. Flávio Dante took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Bidari. Florencio Bidari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Florencio Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ezequiel Ieltxu came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the El Renacer del Quijano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Ieltxu couldn't finish the play. Luís Eduardo Pontes made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Eriberto Sengrat sent off a good shot on target. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Ezequiel Ieltxu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in WAU team's zone, Victoriano Tibalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo Pontes came out of the goal and Victoriano Tibalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Flávio Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Ieltxu. In the 38th minute, Agostinho Britto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florencio Bidari was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Florencio Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Ieltxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Felipe Ioritz got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Florencio Bidari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Renacer del Quijano FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Júnior Vidal was slow to take the kick. During this time WAU team's players had a chance to rest. Felipe Ioritz tried in the 61st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Florencio Bidari a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-4. In the 64th minute, Amauri Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Eduardo Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Ieltxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Ieltxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Eduardo Pontes. WAU team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Ieltxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. WAU team's Luís Eduardo Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Sengrat in the 84th minute of play.
