Astor Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Kellman in the 14th minute of play. When Kenny Tholsson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tough and Tasty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenny Tholsson couldn't finish the play. Gert Linquist made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Juan Olando sent off a good shot on target. Club Atletico Lanus's Astor Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Lundin in the 76th minute of play. Håkan Kellman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Teofilio having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jesper Ekman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Teofilio was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After 94 played minutes Club Atletico Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Bingen. The Tough and Tasty FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tough and Tasty FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
