Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zbyszek Ptaszek started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patryk Dejo. 6 minutes into the match, Kosynierzy FC's Andrzej Rosiewicz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 9 played minutes Vascogoianiense FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Carvalho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Trigo in the 14th minute of play forced Kosynierzy FC's goalkeeper Edmund Dzierwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patryk Dejo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Andrzej Rosiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Hélder Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Dzierwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Márcio Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kosynierzy FC's Edmund Dzierwa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmund Dzierwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Trigo in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Vascogoianiense FC were awarded a corner. Márcio Medeiros went to the cornerflag to take it. When Zbyszek Ptaszek came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Kosynierzy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszek Ptaszek couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Márcio Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Dzierwa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Anderson Valladares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmund Dzierwa. Anderson Valladares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The supporters of Kosynierzy FC booed when Vascogoianiense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kosynierzy FC's attentive Hieronim Parajewski managed to snatch the ball when Ademar Montenegro made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. A collision led to Kosynierzy FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hieronim Parajewski hit a great ball. Hélder Trigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Dzierwa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Patryk Dejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zé Augusto Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Dzierwa made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Márcio Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Ptaszek came free, but Zé Augusto Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Faria made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kosynierzy FC's Hieronim Parajewski. The Vascogoianiense FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vascogoianiense FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
