Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amedeo Orioli got the match started through his kick off. Cornel Bodiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Amedeo Orioli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carloforte f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alex Team the free kick. The supporters of Alex Team booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Orioli didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Bodiu in the 8th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Alex Federici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Cornel Bodiu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alex Federici, 1-0. If Cornel Bodiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Tărâţă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Orioli, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ercole Marra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alex Tărâţă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercole Marra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Tărâţă having to interfere. If Cornel Bodiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Moise Udrişte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gică Boerescu got free with Alex Federici in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Orioli came free, but Alex Tărâţă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Alex Federici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Boerescu in the 54th minute of play. Ercole Marra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes Alex Team got a freekick which was hit by Gică Boerescu. Ercole Marra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Tărâţă having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Boerescu in the 67th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Alex Federici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Carosella to maneuver through the defense. Alex Tărâţă made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ercole Marra sent off a good shot on target. Ercole Marras short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Alex Tărâţă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Ferdinando Carosella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Ercole Marra put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Tărâţă. Cornel Bodiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Cornel Bodiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Federici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Carloforte f.c. defense, Cornel Bodiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Federici. The Carloforte f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Federici should have stopped the shot. Alex Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Bodiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
