Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lino Lluis started the match with the kick off. Petros Giannakis struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Narciso Montel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΠΑΟΚ FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Giannakis in the 7th minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Narciso Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Dolfo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Aris Voutsas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th match minute, C.A.P.J. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Rolado to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Takis Saltamaras came free, but Narciso Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Lluis in the 21st minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Makis Tselementes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Thomas Papagiotopoulos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of C.A.P.J.'s Narciso Montel. Narciso Montel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stratos Tzolis hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Narciso Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aris Voutsas in the 31st minute of the match. Aris Voutsas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Montel having to make a save. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when C.A.P.J. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Fanuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Voutsas in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aris Voutsas in the 41st minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Narciso Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The C.A.P.J. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ΠΑΟΚ FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Petros Giannakis made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Aris Voutsas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Narciso Montel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.P.J.'s zone, Thomas Papagiotopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Montel came out of the goal and Thomas Papagiotopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Kostas Triantopoulos replaced Thomas Papagiotopoulos. In the 65th minute of the match, Aris Voutsas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Narciso Montel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 68th minute Iker Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makis Tselementes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Kostas Triantopoulos got a free kick in the 71st minute. Petros Giannakis's late challenge caught a C.A.P.J.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petros Giannakis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Giannakis to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Errikos Kalantzidis during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Errikos Kalantzidis hit a great ball. If Kostas Triantopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes C.A.P.J. got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Belmiro. When the final whistle sounded ΠΑΟΚ FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A.P.J..
