Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Moisés Tepedino got the match started through his kick off. Celso Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Giannakis in the 3rd minute of play. ΠΑΟΚ FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anestis Kapataidakis in the 6th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Aris Voutsas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Moisés Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Makis Tselementes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C.PAULISTA. Aris Voutsas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Celso Luz made a huge save. 13 minutes into the game, Petros Giannakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Celso Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petros Kounadopoulos hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Makis Tselementes came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C.PAULISTA's Fernando Prado. But to his dismay, Fernando Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Petros Giannakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Celso Luz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petros Giannakis in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Luz saved S.C.PAULISTA from getting behind. Petros Giannakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Celso Luz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Celso Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Giannakis in the 28th minute of play. Aris Voutsass short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Celso Luz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Aris Voutsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Abelardo Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Aris Voutsas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΠΑΟΚ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aris Voutsas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's Olívio Tavares got a free kick in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petros Giannakis in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Celso Luz managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Giannakis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petros Giannakis was the one to do the kick off. Celso Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Giannakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Celso Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petros Giannakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute ΠΑΟΚ FC were awarded a corner. Anestis Kapataidakis went to the cornerflag to take it. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Anestis Kapataidakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Celso Luz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aris Voutsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Celso Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Prado hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes S.C.PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Amaral. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Kounadopoulos got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th play minute Fernando Prado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Makis Tselementes. 1-2. Fernando Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Makis Tselementes made a huge save. In the 73rd match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Stratigakis to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes of play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Giannakis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Petros Giannakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Luz was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
