Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Petros Giannakis kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petros Giannakis in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Tărâţă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Udrişte in the 8th minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Makis Tselementes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Petros Kounadopoulos. After 11 minutes, Cornel Bodiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alex Team and the ΠΑΟΚ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Alex Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Bodiu to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Giannakis came free, but Alex Tărâţă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Makis Tselementes made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Niculae Ştercă sent off a good shot on target. Robert Angheluță charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Angheluță the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Robert Angheluță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Team's Alex Tărâţă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Kapataidakis in the 27th minute of play. Anestis Kapataidakis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Takis Saltamaras kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Alex Team's Robert Angheluță got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Alex Tărâţă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petros Giannakis's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when Alex Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Achifoaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Tărâţă came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Giannakis. But to his dismay, Petros Giannakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cornel Bodiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Makis Tselementes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petros Giannakis scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Tărâţă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gică Boerescu made a kick off. Alex Tărâţă was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Petros Giannakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Petros Giannakis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petros Giannakis got free with Alex Tărâţă in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petros Giannakis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alex Tărâţă firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aris Voutsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alex Tărâţă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Errikos Kalantzidis replaced Vassilis Banasidis. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Kostas Triantopoulos replaced Thomas Papagiotopoulos. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Makis Tselementes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Bodiu in the 71st minute of play. Moise Udrişte struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Makis Tselementes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alex Team. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Boerescu in the 78th minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Makis Tselementes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petros Giannakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Alex Tărâţă made a huge save. Alex Tărâţă was a little too slow when Petros Giannakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Alex Team's zone, Petros Giannakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Tărâţă came out of the goal and Petros Giannakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Tărâţă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petros Giannakis in the 89th minute of the match. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Giannakis got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Giannakis made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Tărâţă was left in no man's land by his defense there! ΠΑΟΚ FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
