Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petros Giannakis in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruud Windmuller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 7 minutes, Alexis Stratigakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΠΑΟΚ FC and the SV Balverliefd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Stratigakis to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Jan Alferink notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ΠΑΟΚ FC's Makis Tselementes. Makis Tselementes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Makis Tselementes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Alferink in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of SV Balverliefd booed when ΠΑΟΚ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Banasas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruud Windmuller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aris Voutsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Thomas Papagiotopoulos put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ruud Windmuller. Petros Giannakis in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruud Windmuller, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The tension between the SV Balverliefd and the ΠΑΟΚ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jos Deuring kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 60th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Verbeek to maneuver through the defense. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Errikos Kalantzidis replaced Vassilis Banasidis. Anestis Kapataidakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Petros Giannakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ruud Windmuller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Kostas Triantopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Giannakis made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruud Windmuller was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aris Voutsas scored 7-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruud Windmuller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Kostas Triantopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruud Windmuller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petros Giannakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ΠΑΟΚ FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
