Amedeo Orioli charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amedeo Orioli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Orioli. 12 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elvis Waller came free, but Alex Federici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Federici came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by River tu grato nombre's Benjamin Norton. But to his dismay, Benjamin Norton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alex Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Brand, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Federico Fabrizi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carloforte f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River tu grato nombre the free kick. Federico Fabrizi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, River tu grato nombre's Calvin Brand shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Federici came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in River tu grato nombre reached it. When Calvin Brand came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the River tu grato nombre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calvin Brand couldn't finish the play. When River tu grato nombre's Elvis Waller in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carloforte f.c.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 31 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Capasso. 35 minutes into the game, Amedeo Orioli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jayson Burnett. Amedeo Orioli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Amedeo Orioli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Burnett having to interfere. Kraig Rasmussen hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Garibaldi to maneuver through the defense. A well-hit corner resulted in Abraham Bain heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

The wind increased when Amedeo Orioli made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Vitale during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of River tu grato nombre booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Orioli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calvin Brand took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alex Federici. Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, River tu grato nombre's Walter Goodwin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 66 minutes, Armando Minati mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carloforte f.c. and the River tu grato nombre players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Armando Minati. Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Waller in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ferdinando Carosella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carloforte f.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinando Carosella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jayson Burnett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Fabrizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jayson Burnett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinando Carosella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Waller in the 89th minute of play.
