Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Damian Barea made the kick off which started today's match. 12 minutes into the game, CAI NEUQUEN's Damian Barea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Makis Tselementes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 16 minutes into the game, Bernardo Cristofor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Makis Tselementes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the game, Mario Costante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAI NEUQUEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΠΑΟΚ FC the free kick. Bonifacio Edur hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takis Saltamaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Takis Saltamaras notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of CAI NEUQUEN's Rodrigo Lalla. Rodrigo Lalla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Makis Tselementes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Felipo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rodrigo Lalla came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by ΠΑΟΚ FC's Thomas Papagiotopoulos. But to his dismay, Thomas Papagiotopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After recieving a nice pass, CAI NEUQUEN's Bernardo Cristofor tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Giannakis made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Lalla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damian Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petros Giannakis to make the kick off. Vassilis Banasidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute Bernardo Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makis Tselementes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Christos Banasas fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΠΑΟΚ FC's protests and gave Christos Banasas a yellow card for diving instead. Christos Banasas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Makis Tselementes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Barea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes CAI NEUQUEN got a freekick which was hit by Rene Fortun. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Errikos Kalantzidis replaced Vassilis Banasidis. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Kostas Triantopoulos was substituted for Thomas Papagiotopoulos. After 58 played minutes CAI NEUQUEN got a freekick which was hit by Rene Fortun. Aris Voutsas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Lalla made a huge save. In the 59th match minute, CAI NEUQUEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Lleir to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Kostas Triantopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aris Voutsas got free with Rodrigo Lalla in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petros Giannakiss short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Rodrigo Lalla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 86 minutes into the game, Kostas Triantopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Rodrigo Lalla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Makis Tselementes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Cristofor in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aris Voutsas hit a great ball. Rodrigo Lalla came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by ΠΑΟΚ FC's Aris Voutsas. But to his dismay, Aris Voutsas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. The ΠΑΟΚ FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ΠΑΟΚ FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
