Zacarias Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Regresado's Segundo Bidun got a free kick in the 8th minute. Twan Blanc, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ruud Windmuller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Escobar in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Acuña in the 12th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Ruud Windmuller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Mulder to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Segundo Bidun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruud Windmuller skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to SV Balverliefd getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Kristian Mols hit a great ball. When Regresado's Zacarias Escobar in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Balverliefd's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Regresado's Enzo Astrada got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jos Deuring kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Huib Smit came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the SV Balverliefd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huib Smit couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Jos Deuring from a close distance when the talented Eustaquio Oxarra managed to make a qualified save. Regresado's players were relieved. Eustaquio Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos Deuring in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Regresado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Fresco to maneuver through the defense. Eustaquio Oxarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jos Deuring, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jos Deuring made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, SV Balverliefd's Jos Deuring made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Oxarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evelio Kelemen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. SV Balverliefd's Twan Blanc couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Regresado. After 59 played minutes Regresado got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Oxarra. Eustaquio Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jos Deuring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Escobar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Ruud Windmuller when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Regresado's Eustaquio Oxarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib Smit in the 76th minute of play. If Huib Smit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Jos Deuring had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustaquio Oxarra. Regresado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jos Deuring was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 85 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Heiko Mulder. After some careless play in the Regresado defense, Huib Smit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustaquio Oxarra. The Regresado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustaquio Oxarra should have stopped the shot. SV Balverliefd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
