Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) Alex Team's Gică Boerescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrei Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Achifoaiei in the 4th minute of play. Vincente Sarrate charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincente Sarrate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Club Deportivo Polonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincente Sarrate to maneuver through the defense. Aketza Romero took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Tărâţă. Alex Tărâţă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Alex Team booed when Club Deportivo Polonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincente Sarrate didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Alex Team getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Virgil Achifoaiei hit a great ball. The Club Deportivo Polonia fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Club Deportivo Polonia's Anton Quintanilla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adolfo Romero hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Gică Boerescus short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Andrei Fuentes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alex Team were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Club Deportivo Polonia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gică Boerescu took the corner. The corner led Alex Team's Gică Boerescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Andrei Fuentes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute, Ramiro Rojas made a precise shot to the right of Alex Tărâţă. Alex Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Virgil Achifoaiei fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alex Team's protests and gave Virgil Achifoaiei a yellow card for diving instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Adolfo Romero put in a rough tackle. In the 44th minute, Adolfo Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrei Fuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Boerescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Club Deportivo Polonia were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Club Deportivo Polonia's Guido Vazquez was substituted for Ramiro Rojas. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aketza Romero to make the kick off. Niculae Ştercă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Andrei Fuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Club Deportivo Polonia's Guido Vazquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Tărâţă. Alex Tărâţă yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After having played for 59 minutes, Cornel Bodiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alex Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Bodiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Team's Alex Tărâţă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vazquez in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gică Boerescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrei Fuentes was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Guido Vazquez hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Deportivo Polonia getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Aketza Romero hit a great ball. Andrei Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Bodiu in the 75th minute of play. Walme Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Guido Vazquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Tărâţă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aketza Romero in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd minute, Club Deportivo Polonia's Aketza Romero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Alex Team's Alex Tărâţă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vazquez in the 89th minute of play. Guido Vazquez kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 90thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Alex Team's keeper Alex Tărâţă was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Aketza Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Team's Alex Tărâţă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zahar Cacheres in the 95th minute of play. Alex Team's Alex Tărâţă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Alex Team from getting a goal against them. The Club Deportivo Polonia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
