Spectators: 7456 (Terracing: 5593, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Carloforte f.c.'s Amedeo Orioli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner led Regresado's Segundo Bidun to fire away a dangerous shot which Alex Federici despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 6th minute, Amedeo Orioli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 8 played minutes Regresado got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Cebrian. 9 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Carosella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustaquio Oxarra. Regresado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinando Carosella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eustaquio Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Orioli in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Ferdinando Carosella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Oxarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Acuña scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Federici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carloforte f.c.'s Amedeo Orioli got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ferdinando Carosella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustaquio Oxarra was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 38th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Minati to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Acuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Federici having to interfere. Amedeo Orioli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustaquio Oxarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Garibaldi during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
