Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 5656, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Bernardino Pabla started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Cordera during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zurdo FC's Hipolito Cordera got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Zurdo FC defense, Fausto Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robustiano Frederik. The Zurdo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robustiano Frederik should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Gonçalo Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Joinville Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Fantini. Wellington Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Fausto Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Mazuste charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Mazuste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zurdo FC's Gonzalo Mazuste got a free kick in the 37th minute. Zurdo FC's Robustiano Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Mangueira in the 42nd minute of play. Froilan Benet hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Deivid Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joinville Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Deivid Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Frederik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Joinville Esporte Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Célio Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. Zurdo FC's Robustiano Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Vaz in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Santo Quinto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Joinville Esporte Clube's Wellington Montenegro. Wellington Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Montenegro having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Zurdo FC's Froilan Benet made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wellington Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Aguiar during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Zurdo FC booed when Joinville Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hipolito Cordera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Joinville Esporte Clube's Fausto Aguiar in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zurdo FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Pabla in the 78th minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wellington Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes, Silvestre Cordario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zurdo FC and the Joinville Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robustiano Frederik was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Célio Mangueira. After a rather tough play, Zurdo FC's Jeremias Erruki got a free kick in the 85th minute. Zurdo FC's Robustiano Frederik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Zurdo FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zurdo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Joinville Esporte Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
