Virgilio Ferrer made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Deon Hudson sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the game, Roy Donnelly recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgilio Ferrer. Roy Donnelly showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Eric Murphy fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Astreix&ObelixSoccer's protests and gave Eric Murphy a yellow card for diving instead. Callum Grayson in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Ferrer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hipolito Bizi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Buffone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Gianluigi Buffone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Gimenez in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Bizi came free, but Gianluigi Buffone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Gimenez in the 29th minute of play forced Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Donnelly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Astreix&ObelixSoccer getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kevin Longstaffe hit a great ball. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Gianluigi Buffone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Primeiro in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Hipolito Bizi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Gimenez made a kick off. Virgilio Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Callum Grayson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deon Hudson in the 54th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rufus Sawyer during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Astreix&ObelixSoccer getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rufus Sawyer hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the game Ovidio Rito made a throw-in which Hipolito Bizi played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Astreix&ObelixSoccer's zone, Emiliano Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluigi Buffone came out of the goal and Emiliano Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primitivo Arano kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo el Divague's zone, Roy Donnelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Ferrer came out of the goal and Roy Donnelly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Ferrer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deon Hudson went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Deon Hudson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Virgilio Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kevin Longstaffe fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Deportivo el Divague booed when Astreix&ObelixSoccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Donnelly couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Roy Donnelly put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Virgilio Ferrer. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Roy Donnelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Donnelly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Ferrer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Deportivo el Divague's Alejandro Gagriel got a free kick in the 94th minute. Deon Hudson charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deon Hudson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Astreix&ObelixSoccer getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Deon Hudson hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Astreix&ObelixSoccer had played much better football throughout.
