Alvino Galnares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalkeeper Quentin Albizua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adulfo Teresa. 38 minutes into the match, Salud y República's goal looked a bit too open when Zuriko Herrera came free, but Alvino Galnares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Marcelo Pedriza managed to get in a good position for a shot.
