Kasper Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Mikel Tobia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuriko Herrera hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Quentin Albizua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Nordahl in the 33rd minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Michael Forss took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Quentin Albizua to make any attempt to save it. Michael Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Quentin Albizua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, La vecchia signora's Gunnar Nordahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quentin Albizua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adelio Solana hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to Clube Esportivo Saudade getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Machado Nieto hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Mikel Tobia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingvar Lindberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gunnar Nordahl scored 2-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quentin Albizua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

After 52 minutes, Mikel Tobia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Esportivo Saudade and the La vecchia signora players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ingvar Lindberg came out of the goal and Anxo Uria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La vecchia signora's Michael Forss got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Zuriko Herrera got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Zuriko Herrera off the ground. Zuriko Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Forss came free, but Quentin Albizua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Clube Esportivo Saudade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porfirio Ibanez to maneuver through the defense. Quentin Albizua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Nordahl in the 90th minute of play. When Clube Esportivo Saudade's Eleodoro Cayuela in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
