Paulo José Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Guedes. Pedro Augusto Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Lúcio Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, TRAKINAS FC's Adhemar Rodrigues seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adhemar Rodrigues the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of TRAKINAS FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adhemar Rodrigues had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, TRAKINAS FC's Adhemar Rodrigues got a free kick in the 40th minute. Waldir Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Ceresso in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reginaldo Ceresso was the one to do the kick off. Reginaldo Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Paulo José Donatello struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Eriberto Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TRAKINAS FC. In the 62nd minute, TRAKINAS FC's Betinho Breckenfeld dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Flores da Cunha - RS's zone, Paulo José Donatello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Abraão came out of the goal and Paulo José Donatello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the TRAKINAS FC defense, Gugu Vergílio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldir Netto. The TRAKINAS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Netto should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute Gugu Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betinho Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Abraão having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Tiaguinho Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TRAKINAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flores da Cunha - RS the free kick. After 84 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Paraense. TRAKINAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo José Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TRAKINAS FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
