The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Vicente Beltxe fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esmeralda AFC's protests and gave Vicente Beltxe a yellow card for diving instead. Måns Offendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Olov Rosendahl's late challenge caught a Esmeralda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olov Rosendahl helped the player get up and apologised. Olov Rosendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Esmeralda AFC's Nicasio Lorenz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Freedom 2024's goalkeeper Måns Offendahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Jacindo.
