The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Lorenz during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Shaolin soccer booed when Esmeralda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Lorenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Cetnar was a little too slow when Ceferino Restu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Restu in the 13th minute of play forced Shaolin soccer's goalkeeper Emil Cetnar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Czerner in the 15th minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Mateo Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Ceferino Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Cetnar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Cetnar made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ceferino Restu sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Iwan Czapski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Rufo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Shaolin soccer's Arkadiusz Fetor got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience held their breath when Nicasio Lorenz in the 27th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Emil Cetnar's left hand side. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Melquiades Lamberto hit a great ball. Arkadiusz Trochowski hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda AFC's Baltasar Maldonado got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Czerner in the 39th minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Mateo Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Restu's late challenge caught a Shaolin soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Restu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Restu to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Jakue was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arkadiusz Fetor. Emil Cetnar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Jacindo in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Roch Janiczek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Cetnar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Lamberto in the 63rd minute of play. Iwan Czapski kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Shaolin soccer got a corner. Esmeralda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zbigniew Czerner ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Zbigniew Czerner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esmeralda AFC's Mateo Jakue did a great save. After 80 minutes, Roch Janiczek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shaolin soccer and the Esmeralda AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Shaolin soccer's Roch Janiczek got a free kick in the 80th minute. Emil Cetnar came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Esmeralda AFC's Aurelio Jacindo. But to his dismay, Aurelio Jacindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda AFC's Aurelio Jacindo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Esmeralda AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
