Juventus EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TZITZIFIES the free kick. The supporters of TZITZIFIES booed when Juventus EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateus de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamatis Birbas in the 22nd minute of the match. Narciso Pinheiro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Stamatis Birbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, TZITZIFIES's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Alberto came free, but Giorgos Nifitsas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Giorgos Dogramadzhiev notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna. Mateus de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Dogramadzhiev in the 43rd minute of play forced Juventus EC's goalkeeper Mateus de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Alberto in the 46th minute of play forced TZITZIFIES's goalkeeper Giorgos Nifitsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timos Pagarliotas charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timos Pagarliotas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, TZITZIFIES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timos Pagarliotas to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yuri Alberto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind TZITZIFIES's goalkeeper Giorgos Nifitsas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yuri Alberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Giorgos Nifitsas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgos Nifitsas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Trifon Chalkias fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TZITZIFIES's protests and gave Trifon Chalkias a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, TZITZIFIES's Trifon Chalkias got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 58th minute, Artur França sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and TZITZIFIES's Giorgos Nifitsas didn't even have to move. Mateus de Senna was a little too slow when Giorgos Dogramadzhiev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in TZITZIFIES's zone, Enéas Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Nifitsas came out of the goal and Enéas Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giorgos Nifitsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Alberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Yuri Alberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giorgos Nifitsas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 87th minute Yuri Alberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Nifitsas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Yuri Alberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Alberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giorgos Nifitsas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The TZITZIFIES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TZITZIFIES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
