When Gergely Gerő came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Vérsárkány SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gergely Gerő couldn't finish the play. Fabrício Rosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without József Bozsik having to make a save. Zoltán Udvarhelyi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. József Bozsik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Rosa in the 15th minute of play. Vérsárkány SE's József Bozsik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Lucas in the 17th minute of play. Bendegúz Oroszlán struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Caetano Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vérsárkány SE. Fabrício Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. József Bozsik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vérsárkány SE's Róbert Salamon got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Icoara Football Club's Egídio Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. József Bozsik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bendegúz Oroszlán charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bendegúz Oroszlán the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Icoara Football Club booed when Vérsárkány SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bendegúz Oroszlán didn't get a good kick on the ball. József Bozsik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Icoara Football Club were furious when Walmir Carvalho was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Walmir Carvalho got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Lajos Kárpáti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egídio Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Icoara Football Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Matías Ceresso got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes, Vérsárkány SE's Bence Kásás shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vérsárkány SE reached it. József Bozsik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Lucas in the 57th minute. Egídio Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without József Bozsik having to interfere. Egídio Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Genílson de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icoara Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. József Bozsik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Egídio Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egídio Lucas made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 69thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but József Bozsik would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Egídio Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without József Bozsik having to interfere. The supporters of Icoara Football Club booed when Vérsárkány SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bence Kásás didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Egídio Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bendegúz Oroszlán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Vérsárkány SE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Icoara Football Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
