After a defensive mix-up in Farafulla FC's zone, Elói Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Arpaia came out of the goal and Elói Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Farafulla FC's Augusto Tucci got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ermanno Della Francesca kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Timeteo Bolas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuele Arpaia. Farafulla FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Vítor de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Cavallo in the 23rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, TIMETER EC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Vítor de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Domenici, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 46 minutes of play, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Raphael Aguiar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuele Arpaia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Spagnuolo to strike the kick off in the second half. Vítor de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Spagnuolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes, Elói Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TIMETER EC -DMZ- and the Farafulla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guga Coutinho hit a great ball. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Vítor de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Cavallo in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Farafulla FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Augusto Tucci hit a great ball. Vítor de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Cavallo in the 79th minute of play. When Daniele Cavallo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farafulla FC's protests and gave Daniele Cavallo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Farafulla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Cavallo to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Proença came free, but Emanuele Arpaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
