Emanuele Arpaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Linares in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 81 played minutes Farafulla FC got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Rea. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Aírton Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aírton Dionísio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Arpaia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronaldo Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Arpaia having to interfere. Ronaldo Linares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuele Arpaia came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldo Linares slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 87th minute. Aírton Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 90th minute.
