Caetano Monteiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. With 9 minutes on the clock, Abelardo Bastos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 9 minutes into the game, one of Fabiofs:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Icoara Football Club. Valdo Lima stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving João Pedro Martins. 1-1. Genílson de Queirós hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egídio Lucas during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Lucas. The supporters of Fabiofs booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Elano Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Fabiofs got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Domingues. João Pedro Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elano Velloso got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-1 in the right cross in the 33rd match minute before Caetano Monteiro had time to react. In the 45th minute, Erik Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egídio Lucas made a kick off. In the 68thth minute of the game Thiago Zonta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fabiofs's João Pedro Martins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Pedro Martins made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Egídio Lucas sent off a good shot on target. Orlando Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Velloso came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdo Lima's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed João Pedro Martins - 4-2 was put on the score board in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Dante in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elano Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Caetano Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Elano Velloso made a precise shot to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Fabiofs were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Icoara Football Club for a fine match.
