Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antonio Spagnuolo started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Dogramadzhiev came free, but Emanuele Arpaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Isidoros Chatzidis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Farafulla FC's Emanuele Arpaia. Emanuele Arpaia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. TZITZIFIES's Giorgos Dogramadzhiev got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Isidoros Chatzidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. TZITZIFIES's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoros Chatzidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Arpaia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermanno Della Francesca hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Farafulla FC's Dave Valeriani got a free kick in the 14th minute. Theofanis Potamiotis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Emanuele Arpaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoros Chatzidis in the 17th minute of the match. Emanuele Arpaia made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Isidoros Chatzidis sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute of the match, Giorgos Dogramadzhiev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emanuele Arpaia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 26th minute, Demetrio Domenici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giorgos Dogramadzhiev scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuele Arpaia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Farafulla FC's Emanuele Arpaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoros Chatzidis in the 34th minute of play. Isidoros Chatzidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuele Arpaia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute Stamatis Birbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Arpaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Arpaia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giorgos Dogramadzhiev went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Giorgos Dogramadzhiev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giorgos Dogramadzhiev to make the kick off. TZITZIFIES's Giorgos Dogramadzhiev got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, TZITZIFIES's Theofanis Potamiotis got a free kick in the 57th minute. Stamatis Birbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes of play, TZITZIFIES's Giorgos Dogramadzhiev made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuele Arpaia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 played minutes TZITZIFIES got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Dogramadzhiev. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Spagnuolo got free with Giorgos Nifitsas in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trifon Chalkias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 minutes, Ermanno Della Francesca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Farafulla FC and the TZITZIFIES players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TZITZIFIES's Theofanis Potamiotis got a free kick in the 74th minute. Emanuele Arpaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Dogramadzhiev in the 78th minute of the match. Emanuele Arpaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timos Pagarliotas in the 82nd minute of play. Giorgos Dogramadzhiev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamatis Birbas in the 86th minute of play forced Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Arpaia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TZITZIFIES's Stamatis Birbas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 minutes Farafulla FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Theofanis Potamiotis who took care of the corner kick. 95 minutes into the game, TZITZIFIES's Giorgos Dogramadzhiev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuele Arpaia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. TZITZIFIES walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
