João Pedro Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Rzentkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Washington Baptista made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Sylwester Poling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Elano Velloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sylwester Poling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 36 played minutes Fabiofs got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Bastos. Sylwester Poling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Dante in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Dembkowski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Ludwiczak got free with João Pedro Martins in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Sylwester Poling got control of the ball when Erik Dante tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Fabiofs defense, Lech Rzentkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Pedro Martins. The Fabiofs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Pedro Martins should have stopped the shot. Erik Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sylwester Poling made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tostão Freire sent off a good shot on target. When Witomir Marczyniec fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's protests and gave Witomir Marczyniec a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Marczyniec to maneuver through the defense. Witomir Marczyniec hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Dante got free with Sylwester Poling in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Pedro Martins came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Marcin Przybyciel. But to his dismay, Marcin Przybyciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.
