Olavo Carioca started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Juventus EC's Luís Guilherme Barros got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Juventus EC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ediberto Mandrak hit a great ball. Cássio de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Alberto in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Claudinho Saldanha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poetass FC and the Juventus EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Juventus EC booed when Poetass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Poetass FC's zone, Artur França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal and Artur França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus EC's Artur França. But to his dismay, Artur França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Dani Portillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mateus de Senna, 1-1. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur França in the 36th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Juventus EC's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Carioca came free, but Mateus de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Alberto was the one to do the kick off. After 50 minutes, Dário Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poetass FC and the Juventus EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Poetass FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Dário Pernambucano hit a great ball. After having played for 51 minutes, Yuri Alberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Alberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur França scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Poetass FC's zone, Zé Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal and Zé Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Alberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Yuri Alberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poetass FC the free kick. After 62 played minutes Juventus EC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Alberto. Dorival Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Eriberto Rocha was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. Mateus de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandrinho Carvalho went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Hílton Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Poetass FC's Sandrinho Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur França got free with Cássio de Senna in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Noel Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. Poetass FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
