The supporters of Poetass FC booed when Vérsárkány SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoltán Udvarhelyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Károly Balázs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio de Senna having to interfere. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Poetass FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bence Kásás was slow to take the kick. During this time Vérsárkány SE's players had a chance to rest. In the 16th minute, Poetass FC's Olavo Carioca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind József Bozsik. József Bozsik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19th minute Károly Balázs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Gerő in the 23rd minute of play. When Lajos Kárpáti came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Vérsárkány SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lajos Kárpáti couldn't finish the play. If Bendegúz Oroszlán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sandrinho Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Károly Balázs to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Olavo Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but József Bozsik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vérsárkány SE getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Károly Balázs hit a great ball. If Olavo Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Vérsárkány SE's Bendegúz Oroszlán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cássio de Senna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olavo Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without József Bozsik having to interfere. József Bozsik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Saldanha went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Olavo Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. József Bozsik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedek Soós's late challenge caught a Poetass FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedek Soós helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Vérsárkány SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedek Soós to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, Károly Balázs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vérsárkány SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Károly Balázs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. József Bozsik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. There was no doubt that Poetass FC were the better team. Poetass FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
