Tirense F.C.'s Enéas Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Tirense F.C. from getting a goal against them. Enéas Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Patrichi in the 18th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Virgil Vergulescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tirense F.C.'s Enéas Arruda. Enéas Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Tirense F.C. booed when Rovine Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Munteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s João Augusto Maciel got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tirense F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Virgil Vergulescu scored to the left of an out of position Enéas Arruda, making the score, 3-0. If Sandu Munteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandu Munteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Arruda having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgil Vergulescu to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Tirense F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Valdo Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Silviu Stoian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enéas Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Vergulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Dida Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tirense F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rovine Craiova the free kick. Rovine Craiova's Matei Comișel was substituted for Silviu Stoian. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when Tirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgil Vergulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Arruda having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Tirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Enéas Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Vergulescu in the 71st minute of play. Enéas Arruda came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Rovine Craiova's Virgil Vergulescu. But to his dismay, Virgil Vergulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Luisão Severo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Viorel Apolzan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dacian Patrichi might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enéas Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dacian Patrichi ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Tirense F.C. defense, Dacian Patrichi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enéas Arruda. The Tirense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enéas Arruda should have stopped the shot. Rovine Craiova's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
