Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ole Ruge managed to get in a good position for a shot. STARGARD FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ole Ruge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Montez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Leandro Jenaro fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Mitre's protests and gave Leandro Jenaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Jenaro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Reuter in the 8th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Roman Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to STARGARD FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Michael Ballack hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Leandro Jenaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lance Haßke skillfully saved the ball. When Michael Ballack fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STARGARD FC's protests and gave Michael Ballack a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Michael Ballack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Epifanio Kelemen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lance Haßke showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rüdiger Fischer kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Cayetano Aurre hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Bruno Wiederhold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Mitre's Roman Montez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roman Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Ballack in the 29th minute of play. Roman Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Reuter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Michael Ballack left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STARGARD FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Villa Mitre's Roman Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Ballack in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, STARGARD FC's Michael Ballack got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 46 minutes of play, STARGARD FC's Rüdiger Fischer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Montez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Michael Ballack kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Villa Mitre's Epifanio Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Villa Mitre's Astor Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Villa Mitre's Astor Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Villa Mitre's Roman Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Mitre from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as STARGARD FC's Michael Ballack slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roman Montez. That made the score 0-3 after 66 minutes of play. Rüdiger Fischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, STARGARD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Shepherd came free, but Lance Haßke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Astor Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Villa Mitre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Shepherd couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the game, Roque Reuter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Roman Montez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Reuter came free, but Roman Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Ballack, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Roman Montez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Ballack in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, STARGARD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Shepherd came free, but Lance Haßke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lance Haßke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over STARGARD FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villa Mitre throughout the match.
