Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Astor Shepherd took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Luisão Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Montez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Tirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Astor Shepherd came free, but Enéas Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's Leandro Jenaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enéas Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leandro Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Enéas Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tirense F.C. were furious when Vito Paiva was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a long run with the ball, Epifanio Kelemen did a trick in the 21st minute in front of Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by Villa Mitre's Epifanio Kelemen! If Epifanio Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Valdo Ferreira got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 39 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Jenaro. Enéas Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Shepherd in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Tirense F.C. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Novaes hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Epifanio Kelemen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tirense F.C.'s Enéas Arruda didn't even have to move. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisão Severo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Hipolito Corderro got a free kick in the 60th minute. Epifanio Kelemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Epifanio Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Arruda having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Valdo Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tirense F.C.'s zone, Epifanio Kelemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Arruda came out of the goal and Epifanio Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enéas Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Astor Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Mitre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Shepherd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villa Mitre's Epifanio Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Luisão Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
