Benedito Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Juninho Bezerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Sabin. Guansa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juninho Bezerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bartolo Oto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Denílson Pernambucano came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartolo Oto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. Denílson Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Oto in the 20th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Christian Inocente. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Inocente in the 28th minute of play forced Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper Denílson Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34th play minutes Bartolo Oto shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Denílson Pernambucano and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Bartolo Oto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Militros F.C.'s Denílson Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Zacarias Fagildo hit a great ball. Benedito Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Aurelio Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juninho Bezerra to make the kick off. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Marcelo Estefan hit a great ball. In the 51st match minute, Militros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Prado to maneuver through the defense. Romeu Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Christian Inocente. In the 66th minute of the match Juninho Bezerra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Sabin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valdir Prado took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Sabin. Aurelio Sabin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Evaristo Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lino Bonadona fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guansa's protests and gave Lino Bonadona a yellow card for diving instead. Juninho Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aurelio Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Henrico hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Denílson Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Oto in the 87th minute of play. Denílson Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Oto's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When Guansa's Bartolo Oto in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Militros F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Denílson Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Oto in the 93rd minute of play. Guansa were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
