Roman Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Garcia in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Mitre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilberto Garcia was slow to take the kick. During this time Tirense F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Roman Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Aurre.
