Gilmar de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 李强卫 in the 43rd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Botafogo AP got a freekick which was hit by Guto Paraense. 46 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when 孙伟勇 came free, but Gilmar de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
