Jean Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karim Ayari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Pitta in the 63rd minute of play. Karim Ayari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New England Patriots's Claudinho Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ammar Aziza to maneuver through the defense. New England Patriots's Valdomiro Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save New England Patriots from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Claudinho Aparecido notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Symba's Karim Ayari. Karim Ayari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karim Ayari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda Pitta in the 78th minute of the match. Valdomiro Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chedli Habib Benfrej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, New England Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Chaouki Loussayef came free, but Valdomiro Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chaouki Loussayef came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valdomiro Nunes could save by the left post. In the 89th minute, Claudinho Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Patriots fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Chaouki Loussayef scored 2-5 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdomiro Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Symba supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Symba would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
