The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guilherme Ortiz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Santo Amaro AC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guilherme Ortiz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 3rd minute, one of Santo Amaro AC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santo Amaro AC. Eusébio Albuquerque had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Epifanio Ciano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Stone City's Epifanio Ciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Albuquerque made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eusébio Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kami Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Felo in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Unax in the 12th minute of play forced Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Eusébio Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goal looked a bit too open when Kami Le came free, but Eusébio Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Santo Amaro AC's zone, David Felo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Albuquerque came out of the goal and David Felo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kami Le struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Eusébio Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stone City. Eusébio Albuquerque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kami Le went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Fabiano Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Dalmacio Duardo's late challenge caught a Santo Amaro AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Duardo helped the player get up and apologised. Dalmacio Duardo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Eusébio Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Ciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Stone City's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Felo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Aldo Unax reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eusébio Albuquerque. The goal made the score 0-5. Fabiano Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Arias having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Stone City's Aldo Unax sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusébio Albuquerque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jeronimo Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Eusébio Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Felo. In the 92nd minute, Stone City's Kami Le dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6.
